A NEW…
Many of us are looking for, or in need of a New…
Maybe it’s a New Start, a New Year, a New Relationship, a New Opportunity, a New Attitude, a New Chance, or perhaps a New You.
Whatever your New is, I have some questions for you to consider.
Are you ready for your New? How did you prepare for your New?
Here are some directions before you do your reflections.
If your idea of the next thing looks like the last thing, then that’s not New.
New is different than anything you have previously encountered before, that’s what makes it New.
New is unpredictable and uncomfortable because you haven’t done it before.
In the New, your next should be better than what you had before!
Are you prepared for the better, or are you better prepared for the same?
You can’t solely rely on what you know, because you don’t know New! You only know Old.
If you treat New, like Old, you will get the same thing you got before.
Keep doing what you’ve been doing, and you’ll keep getting what you’ve been getting.
In the New, what once hurt you, now you’ve learned to use it to help you.
New should not be like starting over, because now you are starting from experience, and not starting over from scratch.
New doesn’t mean that you go back to the starting line, at the beginning.
New requires a New Version of You. New is a New Dimension for YOU!
A dimension in which you’ve learned how to turn your pain into power. Where you’ve learned to transform your old hurts into new heroics.
You might not have been to this New place before, but you have been through before! And learning how to go through, counts for a lot.
The only way a New Year feels like the previous year is when we fail to conclude the Old Year.
Let last year, be last year! Learn its lessons and move on.
Old things must pass, before New things can be revealed.
Our biggest barrier to entering the New is the Old.
You must leave the Old to enter the New.
You cannot completely live in the New house until you have completely moved out of the Old house. You cannot take your old memories with you.
You have to get out of your Old mindset, before you can go into your New opportunity.
Shifting brings Sifting. We must sift out the Old ways of our life to enter into a New way of living.
When Life starts Lifing, that’s our clue to start Living.
Unnerved feelings develop an unfazed character, that’s what makes it New.
Past Fears turn into Future Faith in the New.
New was not meant to be a new start, New represents New growth.
When a new leaf appears on a plant it confirms that the plant has learned to push through the rocky hard places in life, to deal with disappointments of getting less than what was expected or deserved and continued to grow even when things weren’t always bright and sunny.
You’ve learned how to Reign even during the Rain.
You’ve recognized that Storms build Stamina.
In the New, you are your biggest cheerleader. You must want New more than anything else.
New indicates maturity.
New is not easy, it’s hard. It doesn’t feel good, especially when it’s designed to produce good.
A New Baby means its parents must stop acting like babies.
A New Car should smell New, if it smells Old send it back!
A New residence indicates a New owner. Are you ready to be New?
God wants to do a New Thing in us, are we ready for New?
New is only better if we’re New.
You gotta be New to get New! New demands a lot of you.
Now, more than ever, is the time for New. Happy New You!
