GMO
In today’s society we’re hearing a lot of talk about ingredients.
People everywhere are looking to see what is in something they are partaking of.
It is very important to know the ingredients that you are putting in your system.
Ingredients are the substances you use to combine with one another when you are preparing to make a particular thing that you desire.
For example, if you desire some banana bread, you must have bananas as an ingredient to achieve what you want. Or if you are desiring an apple pie, then it certainly stands to reason that you will definitely need apples as an ingredient. That all seems pretty logical, right?
Even God knew the importance of having the right ingredient when he was making things back in the beginning of everything.
God desired light, so he made light. I wonder if you or I desired to make light what ingredient would we have chosen to use? God chose darkness as his ingredient to make light. Hmm. I find that to be very interesting. Furthermore, the light that he created wasn’t even the sun. He didn’t make the sun until 3 days later.
Thank God that when things are all dark and dreary, he knows that we need some light to shine on our situation.
To make plants, trees, and flowers he used the soil of the earth as an ingredient. That's probably something that we might have thought of as well. But, to make fish, sharks, and whales, he used water from the ocean. Now I certainly didn't see that one coming. Did you?
We know fish love the water, maybe that’s because that’s what they were made from.
I wonder if we love some stuff because that’s what we surrounded ourselves with. Misery, drama, foolishness.
One of Gods greatest creations was man.
The ingredient he chose to make man from was spirit. God took his spirit and his son’s spirit and blew that into the soul of man. This was done to forge a lasting relationship between all of them.
Man was made from God, and by God.
In other words, man was a GMO, God Made Organism.
That got me to thinking about the ingredients that I’ve chosen to use in my past relationships. I’ve used sight, smell, feelings, touch, knowledge, perception, the word of others, but I never used spirit to build a lasting relationship.
Those relationships were like the other GMO, Genetically Modified. I tried to alter, manipulate, twist, and make folks into what I wanted them to be for me. Which by the way never worked.
Maybe their nature was what they had shown me. That was there DNA. I should have believed them.
Again, it is very important to have the right ingredient to make the thing you desire.
I’ve now learned to seek out God Made relationships. How about you?
