Timing Tells Time
Many times, we are focused solely on Time. Society at large puts a great emphasis on Time.
What Time is it? What Time do we have to be there? What Time is it coming? What Time should we launch the new project, new CD, new clothing line? Etc.
Time…Time…Time…
Many times, we don’t seem to give a lot of consideration to Timing. It’s as if though we assume that Time, will tell Timing when things are ready. It’s as if we believe that Time, is far more important than Timing.
But nothing could be further from the truth.
You see, Timing tells Time when things are ready, not the other way around. Timing is a Supernatural function, while Time is a natural function. Which is to say, Time is manmade, take a clock for example. While on the other hand, Timing cannot be dictated nor constructed by man.
Time usually deals with the occurrence of one single event. Whereas Timing has to do with the alignment of the occurrence of several events. We typically are concerned with one problem, one issue, one challenge. Gods resolution to our one thing might require the collaboration of several things.
For example, you might be having a problem at work with the supervisor. God’s solution could require he touch the hearts and lives of several people who can help influence a change of heart in your supervisor. This could take several days. But, the problem comes in, when we are expecting our one small thing to be resolved instantly.
When we pray God hears and grants that request immediately; providing it is in line with his character and nature, of course.
However, the fulfillment of that request might require a process. That process is Timing.
So, the go forward lesson is; When the Timing is right, meaning all things needed for the fulfillment are properly aligned and in place, we will receive the answer to our prayer.
Remember, Timing Tells Time.
This is a Thompson Truth.
