WE CAN’T LOSE HOPE
No matter what. We can’t lose Hope!
It will be okay, if we lose our way, Hope will help us find it again. It will be okay, if we lose our income, Hope will help us get more. It will be okay, even if we lose a loved one, Hope will get us through it.
I say this from my own personal experiences with losing my little brother recently and previously having lost my mother and two sisters over the past few years.
But, if we lose Hope, then we will have lost all possibility of expecting any future change in our circumstances.
To have Hope means to have an Expectation. Take for example, a woman who Hopes to bear a child. She must first be Expecting before there is any possibility of it coming true. Hope will impregnate you with Expectation, and it takes Expectation to deliver your Desires.
If you are not Expecting, there will be no Delivery!
Each of us will face tough times in our life, no matter who we are, or where we live. No matter how strong, how powerful, or how confident we believe we are, tough times will still come our way and pressure us to give up, cave in, and crumble.
The fear of the unknown wants to bully any Hopes of expecting a future change of circumstances that you might have. The toughest challenge we will face during any situation in our life, is to Not Lose Hope!
Perhaps you feel trapped under the rocks of your situation, you’re not sleeping at night, and you can’t see your way free from this thing that grips you. It feels like all hope is lost. Still, we can’t lose Hope. Hope means everything to us.
Hope is much more than an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes with respect to the events in your life. Hope is more than feeling good about things. Hope is not wishing for something magical to happen. Hope is an essential piece in the foundation to seeing what you desire to have happen. Hope, is the hinge on the doors of opportunity, that will open us up to new and creative possibilities.
A long time ago there was a great number of people who were taken captive during a terrible war. The people had been in captivity for several years. They prayed and prayed, yet saw no change.
Hope was all but lost.
One day a believer was sent to give them this word of Hope.
“I know what I am doing. I have it all planned out – plans to take care of you, not to abandon you, plans to give you the future you’ve been hoping for.”
No matter how long it has been, nor how bad it has gotten, God still has a plan for us, and the plan is to give us the future we have been hoping for. That is very encouraging to me and I Hope it is to you also. No matter how bad things look or how bad we feel, we must still have the audacity to Hope.
Hope is the only Hope we have.
So, Let us hold unswervingly to the HOPE we profess, for HE who promised IS FAITHFUL.
This is a Thompson Truth.
