WHAT IMAGE ARE YOU PROJECTING?

Today we hear a lot about Branding. Many corporations and individuals are all focused on their brands. What is your Brand?

Remember, a brand is just another word for image. What image are you showing the world of yourself?                    What do you want people to see about you or in you?

In other words, What Image are you projecting?

Are you projecting the You, that you want others to see?

Quite often we get Who Am I, confused with What Am I, as in What Am I supposed to do.  They are not the same thing.

Be who you are, and what you do will find you!

You will do something most likely relative to who you are. If you are a kind person, kindness will show in what you do. You do not have to take a personality test to know who you are. Think of the images that would best portray your personality. That is who you are. That is not who you want to be, that is who you are right now within yourself. If you see yourself like that, that is who you are. We just need to be confident in who we are.

Confidence is a direct result of knowing yourself. The more you know yourself, the more confident you will become. You will be confident in those things you know; you know. No one knows everything, but everyone knows something. Be confident in what you know.

What Image are you projecting?

When you interact with others, you sense and respond to their display of images, the same as they respond to yours. You do not hear much about this unseen, subtle communication, but everyone does it.

Why do you get certain feelings from some people and different feelings from others? You "pick up on what they are putting down," as people used to say back in the ‘70s. In other words, what you are projecting tells people who you are. You know instantly when someone makes you feel comfortable, nervous, warm or repelled. Likewise, if you feel nervous and uncomfortable around certain people, they instinctively know it. Even animals can detect what we are projecting. It is said that dogs can sense a person’s fear or uneasiness. They sense what we are projecting. We have those same instincts. They may not be canine-sharp, but we clearly sense fear and anger in others, and they sense it in us. You do not need to speak for others to detect what you are feeling

What Image are you projecting?

When we find ourselves in situations that trigger our insecurities, others can sense our fear. When you are with people, whether a single person or a large crowd, you can practice projecting to and through them. Doing this consistently will strengthen your confidence and make you so much more comfortable with people as you observe their reactions.

If you begin to practice this one small act, you will find people responding to you in a way you never have experienced before. The act of freely giving to others some of what you naturally possess is like magic.

I am a beautiful, energetic being. I offer my images of goodness to others and they respond to me with love and positive energy.

Let us focus on projecting the best version of ourselves!

                                                                            This is a Thompson Truth.
