ANOMALOUS INSIGHT
If you were someone who had anomalous insight, you would be like a modern-day Superhero.
We all know that every Superhero has a superpower; Wonder Woman has her belt of truth, Spider Man has his “Spidey Senses”, and Superman has his superhuman strength.
Your superpower would be Anomalous Insight.
I’m not talking about your standard or normal insight. It would be extra ordinary. Extraordinary.
You would have something like x ray vision insight. I call it, x ray analytics.
You would have a deeper view through the window of insight into a situation.
You would know things, that you couldn’t naturally know.
There is a company in New York that is called Anomaly Insights, and they use artificial intelligence to gain insight to help improve healthcare quality.
We can do better than artificial intelligence; we have Divine Intelligence.
Robots don’t know what God does. God is all knowing, robots are programmed.
The Great Divine has made available to us anomalous insight.
Through wisdom, which is a superpower, we can all receive anomalous insight.
I recently shared about the great king Solomon, who received wisdom from God.
Solomon had everything a person could want, but he didn’t know THE WHY.
Simply, he had no insight. He lacked in understanding.
Solomon wanted anomalous insight, so he asked God, and then he received it.
We all have choices to make. We all can use better insight, to make better choices.
Some might be hourly, some daily, and others at various intervals throughout time.
If you are like me, you’ve made some good choices, and some not so good choices.
We hope and pray, that our good choices outweigh our bad choices.
I know that all my bad choices were made when I did not seek God for wisdom.
The gift of anomalous insight wouldn’t only benefit us, but also those around us.
Many times, the personal choices we make, can still affect and influence others.
It’s my career, but my choices might affect others. It’s my body…but. It’s my life…but. It’s MY whatever…But!
As the king, Solomon knew his decisions would not only affect him but also others around him as well.
Solomon viewed it as being irresponsible to those whom he had a responsibility for, to not seek wisdom to be a better leader. And I tend to agree with him.
We need wisdom for ourselves, and especially more so, if we have a responsibility for anyone else. Our lives are often interconnected with someone else’s.
Solomon knew sooner or later; he would need anomalous insight to guide him through a situation that involved someone else.
One day, that situation came in the form of a dispute that he had to settle. It had been viewed by others, but no one knew what to do. So, they brought it to him.
Two different women were pregnant and delivered their babies a few days apart.
Both ladies were said to be prostitutes and lived in the same bordello.
One of the babies died, that mother then exchanged her baby for the live baby.
Each woman claimed she was the mother of the living baby.
Unfortunately, both ladies’ credibility was questioned, and the matter was deferred to the king for his decision.
If Solomon ever needed anomalous insight, it was certainly now.
Imagine the range of human emotions for the mother whose child was taken.
Get this decision wrong, and there would be long lasting ramifications.
After hearing both sides, he made his decision, based on anomalous insight.
Solomon demanded the baby to be cut in half. Yep, right down the middle.
At first glance that didn’t seem like a wise decision at all.
In fact, it seemed crueler and more inhumane than any other alternative.
Why not have shared custody between the women? Why not place the child as a ward of the state? Surely there had to be a better decision than to just kill the baby.
But Solomon has insight from God. He had his superpower.
He wasn’t relying on past experiences or a best guess. He was relying upon wisdom.
He knew the real mother of the child would never agree to this.
One of the women said OKAY, go ahead, do it, the other woman wept bitterly and begged for the child’s life asking that he be spared and given to the other woman.
Solomon knew, only the true mother, would want her child alive at all costs.
Granted, maybe not all our decisions are life altering like this one, but wouldn’t it be great to have a superpower of anomalous insight at your availability?
The lesson learned here is, See how wise we can be as humans, when we walk in wisdom and have anomalous insight given by God.
Don’t miss out on YOUR SUPERPOWER. Ask God to give you this same gift today.
