KNOWING AND THEN LEARNING

The thought of Knowing, and then Learning, would seem to be inversed to most of us.

Many would say that you are, either, or. Either, you are learning to know, or you have learned and you know. But definitely not, knowing and then learning!

Further, the thinking is that if you’ve Learned something, then you Know that something, and there is nothing further to be learned about it.

Some seem to believe that one can learn, all there is to learn about a thing, and once that happens you now have become an expert in that area.

That line of thinking suggests that there are boundaries and limitations to our capacity for learning. That would be incorrect.

That concept has been clearly and repeatedly debunked by technology.

For example, many of us are using our smart mobile phones right now to view this message.

Our global population is estimated at 7.9 billion and counting, and in 2022 there are 7.26 billion people using a smart or featured phone.

That means 91.54% of the world population uses a smartphone.

That’s truly amazing given that in 1990, just a little over 30 years ago, no one had even heard of a smartphone.

Although, they knew of mobiles phones since 1973, they continued to learn and 17 years later built a smart phone.

Learning and knowledge are limitless. Even for God.

Hold on before you say, I thought God is Omniscient, he is, just hear me out.

Omniscient means having infinite awareness.

Because God is aware of everything that is happening, means he knows everything that is happening.

God knows everything because he is in tune with everything that is going on everywhere.

He has awareness of everything that is going on with everything and everyone.

His awareness of us, and all things that pertain to us, are personified in this statement.

The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

Why is God is searching for those hearts/people who are committed to him?

God knows, yet he is searching? Here is what I see is happening in this process.

God knows us. While still yet learning us, from us. Individually!

GOD HAS INFINITE KNOWLEDGE, BECAUSE HE IS INFINITELY LEARING!

In other words, God knows all because he is continually learning.

Let’s look at a backstory scene from Gods relationship with Abraham.

Abraham believed he heard God tell him to sacrifice/kill his only son Isaac.

This sounds a bit familiar, doesn’t it?

Isaac was a promised blessing given to Abraham from God for his faithfulness.

Abraham’s faithfulness was being tested again, by going through with what he heard God tell him to do.

As Abraham drew the knife to kill Isaac, his promised blessing, a messenger angel sent from God said; Do not lay a hand on the boy! For now I know, that you truly trust God.

God knew that Abraham trusted him, but now he also learned that Abraham trusted him.  Experientially.

Feel free to refresh yourself on a previous Truth called, Experientially Learning. EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING — Benton T. Thompson III (bentonthompsoniii.com)

Gods ultimate example of Experientially Learning us, was by becoming one of us.

God learned what life was like for us, by living the life that we live in the form of Jesus.

Jesus came from heaven to learn! To learn what you might ask.

Obedience for one thing. You see Jesus knew obedience, that’s why he came when his father told him to come. yet he had to learn obedience.

It is written that, “Jesus was Gods son, though he learned obedience through what he suffered.”

Wow! Jesus, had to learn obedience! That’s pretty profound.

Jesus had to learn to obey, just as we must learn to obey.

Jesus was sent to learn everything he could about humanity, and he succeeded.

Look at what was said, “Jesus understands every weakness of ours because he was tempted in every way that we are. But he did not sin!”

Jesus completed his assignment to learn us, by living among us.

God continues to learn and watch us through his angels just like he did Abraham.

God is learning just how much we love him by our actions and deeds of devotion to him.

FATHER GOD, WE LOVE YOU, AS YOU WATCH US, YOU’LL SEE JUST HOW MUCH!
