TRANS AF
For the past few weeks, we’ve been talking about a TRANS life.
In today’s social norms, we associate TRANS with someone who wants an identity change, because things are not lining up with who they believe they are.
I can relate to some of those same sentiments, and that’s why I want a TRANS life too.
I am not seeing the things that God promised I would have in my life.
Lending not borrowing, blessings chasing me down, peace all around.
That’s not my life. Sure, things are okay, but not Exceptional like that.
God is Exceptional, and we were made in His Image to experience an Exceptional Life. And that’s not what I have right now.
Same Amen if you can relate to what I am saying.
So, I want to be TRANS AF.
Rather than getting a Natural procedure done, I’m seeking a Spiritual procedure; since the origin of my issue is Spiritual because I am Spirit.
Our gender is but one of many layers/labels that is placed over our Spirit. Make no mistake about it, we are Spirit before anything else.
Besides a Physical change will never correct a Spiritual issue. But a Spiritual change can easily correct one’s Physical environment.
We don’t need to rely on a doctor who is “practicing medicine” and hope he won’t botch the procedure. We can turn to the Almighty Creator who has overseen the lives and times of more than 117 BILLION folks since the Creation, and just for good measure, He is also our Father.
We are Spirit born from the Celestial, temporarily housed in a Natural body, who encounter Emotional experiences in a Physical reality.
Spirit, Body, Soul.
Three-part beings. Part Spiritual, Part Intellectual, Part Emotional.
The key is to get all Three parts aligned and functioning in harmony.
Hence, that’s where the TRANS AF comes in, as in we need a TRANSFORMATION AS THE FATHER. “A GOD CHILD”
Once we receive the transformation, we will be operating at our greatest potential, otherwise known as purpose.
Purpose happens only after we understand how to develop our potential, and this takes place through using words.
Just like it did with our Creator/Father/God. “God said…and it was so”
TRANS AF, TRANFORMING AS THE FATHER DID.
The Genesis account tells us that things were dark, bleak, and out of order, then God Transformed the world with His words.
We don’t need to be Conformed to our world, We need to Transform it.
You see, Life reflects Perspective. Our world is formed by our words.
Matt 12 says, out of the abundance of the heart our mouth speaks.
With that in mind, we must examine the words/things we are continually speaking to avoid these three very dangerous pitfalls.
Pitfall # 1 We will never attain better without having exposure to it.
Pitfall #2 We will never receive what we don’t know is ours.
Pitfall #3 We will never attempt to fix what we don’t believe is broken.
I need a TRANS life because I know I am not seeing what God said I can have, become, or experience.
To get what God has for us we must experience TRANS, A TRANSFORMATION.
TRANSFORMATION is completely different than CONFORMATION.
Conformation is acceptance, Transformation is radical change.
Con Form means to go along to get along. Fit in. Play your role.
Trans Form means to do away with what was, and create a new thing.
God urges us not to settle for being Conformed, to look like the things around us, but rather have a mindset change to become our higher self and Transform our surroundings to what we want to see.
Going to meet God, at a specific time, on a specific day, at a specific place, is nothing more than idle Conformation.
We meet, we eat, we leave. Nothing changes Sunday after Sunday. SSDD.
But, choosing to Commune with God, all day, every day, everywhere, is Transformative. I can change any environment because He is my plus One. God told Adam change add to the garden, not leave it as it was.
Communing with God is not about being seen by others as better or religious, it’s not about collecting information or knowledge, it’s about the fellowship.
We should spend time with God because we love him, and he loves us.
That’s what Transformation is all about. I change WHY I DO, and thus I change WHAT I DO, and start experiencing Exceptional WHAT I GET.
Being Religious is Modification. Being God Focused is Transformation.
Religion only makes one aware, Transformation makes one change.
To experience God, we need to change our ways, not just adjust them.
The Caterpillar we’ve been discussing represents potential, but to reach our purpose, full maturity, a.k.a. the Butterfly, we must go through a wholistic change. Body, Mind, Spirit.
Here are some changes we must make to become that Butterfly.
- The Butterfly neither looks nor acts anything like the Caterpillar.
- You will never experience a Butterfly life with those old Caterpillar urges, desires, and habits hanging around.
- Butterflies don’t partake of what Caterpillars partake of.
- Butterflies don’t hang around Caterpillars. They are mindful of their associations. Association is a predictor of Elevation.
- Butterflies don’t marry Caterpillars…Or they shouldn’t!
- Caterpillars enjoy the dirt; Butterflies enjoy soaring in the sky.
- The eyes of a Butterfly are different from the eyes of a Caterpillar, they each see life differently.
- A Butterfly never compares themselves to a Caterpillar.
- Caterpillars Complain, Butterflies Become.
- Recognize what your purpose is and become it.
Our Communion with God is what makes us become the Butterfly.
That’s what full maturity is all about. Grow up and Fly.
Keep saying what you want to see, until you see what you’ve been saying.
If you don’t like what you see, then change what you are saying.
