It’s time we TRANS.
TRANS as in Transcend - which means to move above, go beyond, seek to surpass, be exceptional, and live gloriously.
Transcendent is what God is. He is Exceptionally Glorious!
And because we were made in his image, we too should strive to be Exceptionally Glorious in our lives.
But It won’t just automatically happen because God wants it to, or because we want it to. We must put ourselves in a position for it to happen.
That position is a different Trans, it’s a Transformation. Metamorphosis.
Our Transformation will lead us to our Transcendence.
Inside of each of us, is everything we need to become, what we should become.
In our Natural state we cannot comprehend the glorious things that God has for us. Only through transformation can we go from Natural Thinking to Spiritual Thinking.
In the beginning, Natural was placed over our Spiritual as protection, until we grew our Spiritual to handle the Exceptional Glory of God in us.
That’s why the Butterfly is the best example of Transformation.
You cannot achieve Butterfly Dreams with Caterpillar Character.
Caterpillars are very mouthy, and they use their mouths to destroy.
Butterflies promote growth by sharing with others. They help!
If a Butterfly continued to think like a Caterpillar he would never fly.
Transformation comes through Information, and Information when received yields Revelation and Revelation when applied causes a Revolution, which is Transcendence.
Transformation+Information=Revelation≤Revolution (Transcendance)
The Caterpillar represents Potential. The Butterfly represents Purpose.
The Caterpillar must begin to think Butterfly thoughts long before it ever Transforms.
The Caterpillar has everything inside of it to become a Butterfly.
It can’t just go to the next level; It must grow to the next level.
A Caterpillars worst nemesis is delusion. I’m fine just as I am. I don’t need to change; I’ve been this way all my life.
Never realizing that was their old life, not the new life God has for them.
We are as we perceive ourselves to be. We will never outgrow our perception of ourselves. How you see is how you be.
Remember the Cockroach that we spoke of last time, he too has wings, but he’s not a Butterfly.
The Caterpillar might say I too can go to great heights as I climb that huge oak tree. But God wants us to float of the wind of his word.
Not to be self-reliant on our own legs (our connections, our resources, our skills, our education)
Caterpillars can walk many feet, while Butterflies can fly thousands of miles.
Perception is done through the eyes. Caterpillars see with limits; they only see black and white.
Butterflies can see numerous possibilities, they see all the colors, even more colors than the natural human eye can see.
Things in the Natural realm often reflect things in the Spiritual realm.
Spiritual Caterpillars dance, shout, and play with the Spirit in church.
Spiritual Butterflies allow the Spirit to lead them outside the church.
Spiritual Caterpillars are always wishing for Gods will to be done.
Spiritual Butterflies are always invoking Gods will through his word.
See the colors of possibilities in God for yourself.
See yourself as the Butterfly whom God created you to be.
Let’s Fly together to our Exceptional New Life!
