VISIONLESSNESS
Previously we spoke about Visionless as a terrible disease or dis-ease.
Today I want us to investigate Visionlessness, which is a condition or state of being like Sightlessness.
Think of it this way, Visionless is an event that can happen, but Visionlessness a.k.a. Sightlessness is what one can become.
According to WordSense Dictionary, Visionlessness is a lack of inspiration. A condition of being uninspired.
Visionlessness is a condition of being / a state of mind. A state or condition in which your mind gets stuck in utter dark blindness.
Remember, having sight doesn’t mean that you have vision.
If we apply what we’ve received here today; Vision is Inspiration.
A lack of Vision is a lack of Inspiration. Sight doesn’t ensure Vision.
Vision is not something that you can choose to have. Vision is something that you know you must do! Vision is why we are alive.
You can’t choose a Vision, your Vision has already chosen you.
Vision is not a Goal, Vision is your Purpose.
Many of us are trying to live out our goals, rather than living a life of purpose.
Your goals benefit you, your purpose benefits others!
You were not created as a goal, or for a goal, you and I were created for a purpose. That’s why we are here!
You can fulfill your goals, but still never fulfill your purpose!
Many individuals continue to experience a sense of emptiness, despite consistently achieving their goals year after year.
Goal accomplishment exposes the void left by a lack of fulfillment of purpose.
We want things to transpire our way, but they are not THE WAY.
Many focus on goals instead of focusing on purpose.
Who I am supposed to be is far more important than what I am supposed to do!
I’m glad you closed that deal. It’s great that you booked that gig. Congratulations on finishing that assignment. Hooray you got the job. Kudos on your nineteenth degree. You got the six-figure salary you wanted. You crushed the competition. The car, the house, etc.
But did any of that provide you with even a sniff of your purpose?
When you complete a goal and only help yourself, you still feel empty.
We don’t need a Goals board, we need a Purpose board.
The Vision board is supposed to be our Purpose board.
You can have money, fame, fortune, and notoriety and still be empty, because deep down inside you still missed walking in your purpose.
You can say Amen, or Oh My! This is not condemnation, it’s inspiration.
It’s time we get to work on our purpose.
We’ve already worked on everything else, our bodies, our hair, our looks, our appearance, our degrees, our bank accounts. Etc., etc., etc.
But what about our purpose?
God’s word says, a person with no vision, is a person with no purpose. Without vision you are prone to injury and disorientation.
We need to sit down, put the phone down, get quiet, and seek God for the vision that he had for us when he allowed us to be born.
We can’t find our way, because we are not seeking HIS WAY.
The world doesn’t need another person, but it does need purpose to be fulfilled, and that’s why you and I are here.
The world needs you to fulfill your purpose. I need you to fulfill your purpose!
Our purposes are connected to each other. We as humas are all interconnected to a greater purpose. All that is required is for us to do our part.
Please allow me to give you a Helpful Hint, Purpose is fulfilled when we learn to help someone else, and not just ourselves, or our own.
Purpose is about the People. The People you Help.
How has your life enriched someone else’s life?
When we make someone smile, we fulfill purpose.
When we comfort someone, we fulfill purpose.
When we uplift someone, we fulfill our purpose.
Our world needs Purpose now more than ever before!
Too many of us are trying to get up but not help anyone else up!
We cannot continue to be Visionless. This is in alignment with the great commission. We Gotta Help Somebody!
I’m praying that YOU, help US, fulfill purpose in the earth.
Each day that you improve the quality of someone else’s life, you fulfill your purpose.
