We use past experiences, past lessons, folks we trust, and podcasts we’ve heard.

All these things are knowledge based. Knowledge cannot solve these equations.

Having faith doesn’t mean you believe. It means you desire to believe.

Doubt doesn’t mean you don’t believe. You are questioning what you believe.

Doubting and unbelieving are not the same thing.

Your value does not come from your job, your income, your education or associations, a relationship. Your value is in your uniqueness. You are unique on Purpose!

Many picture the God of All Creation as a pantheon god. Like Ares, god of rage.

Looking to smite someone with a thunder bolt from Zeus!

Unfortunately, some use the “Wrath story” to frighten folks into a commitment.

God is frequently referred to in terms of what he can do, rather than who he is. No one wants to be used, especially for only what they can offer.

We all have had those times in life when we felt so very alone. So down. You may have felt like even God was so far away, and that He didn’t care. What if I told you that nothing could be further from the truth?

Picture a caring father helping his child learn to ride their bicycle. One hand on the seat, the other had on the handlebars. Can you see it?

His Hand gently persuades and moves us from one position in life to the next.

And maybe, just maybe, my perfection can even win over the love of God.

Then God can be good to me too, because now I am perfect! …

God was, is, and will always be, very concerned about the affairs of you and me.

But he did not sacrifice his only son to show us that he loved us.

For all those who are yelling, stone this Heretic! please allow me to explain.

First let me begin by making myself perfectly clear.

I AM NOT CALLING GOD FOOLISH!

In fact, anyone who would say God is foolish are themselves a Fool! I’m No Fool.

Have you had an experience when you felt you should or should not do something, but you didn’t know why?

Is Faith still needed in today’s time? Afterall, we have made so many great advances in science and technology over the years.

Do we still need something as archaic as the caveman’s Faith? We’ve got fire now!

What first comes to mind when you hear the word obey?

Do you cringe? Are you indifferent?

Or does some form of defiance raise up in you?

Perhaps an image flashed in your mind of an instance when someone was attempting to control you, and thus they required you to obey them…
